I am extremely frustrated with the experience I’ve had with your laptops. It’s been almost a year, and I haven’t been able to use the device properly due to recurring issues. Initially, I received a defective product, and after continuously following up with your support team for four months, I finally got a replacement. However, the replacement unit is also facing problems now.
The biggest issue is with your support team—they do not provide clear answers, often mislead customers, and offer incorrect information. Unlike other companies, your support service does not even allow users to rate their experience based on interactions. The representatives talk in any manner they please, with no accountability.

Currently, I am facing a major issue with the touchpad, which frequently stops working. I receive the following error message:

"PxiTpService.exe Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (Oxe0434352) occurred in the application at location 0x00007FF92B34BB0A."

This ongoing frustration makes me feel like breaking the laptop out of sheer disappointment. I request immediate assistance in resolving this issue permanently.

Looking forward to a prompt and effective resolution.

OK, they have released two drivers for your system:

Which do you have installed? The 1.0 version was pretty buggy IIRC.

What is the full model number of the laptop?

Have you recently installed or updated any software? This could include applications, drivers, or operating system updates.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

You aren't reaching any Acer employees here, just us other Acer users. Have you upgraded the PixArt drivers for your touchpad? I believe there are upgraded drivers for all those newer models that use that touchpad…

That "model number" isn't really a model number, since they reuse those in different series. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SFG14-xxx-xxxx.

The error "PxiTpService.exe Application Error" on your Acer Swift SFG14-73 likely indicates an issue with the touchpad driver or a related service, potentially requiring driver updates or troubleshooting steps.

    1. Touchpad Driver Issues:
      Outdated Driver:
The touchpad driver might be outdated or corrupted. Updating the driver to the latest version from Acer's website or using Device Manager is a good first step.
      Driver Conflict:
Another program or driver might be interfering with the touchpad driver. Try disabling or uninstalling recently installed software or drivers to see if it resolves the issue.
      Corrupted Driver:
The driver itself might be corrupted. Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver can help.
