Why are the wifi and screen brightness buttons on my Aspire A315-55G laptop's keyboard not working

Can't seem to make the wifi toggle on and off using keyboard keys (fn + f2). Adjusting the screen brightness to lower it using the key in (f3) also doesn't work, but adjusting it higher works in (f4).

These two keys (f2) and (f3) are the only keys not working in my laptop.

Would appreciate help.

My laptop's model is the Aspire A315-55G with Windows 10 x64.

Hi @bluwish have you checked that the Fn key is working correctly? Make sure that it is not activated by default and that it is not necessary to press it.
If this is not the case, make sure that you have the keyboard language settings correctly, that is, the keyboard language must match the language of the operating system and, above all, the keyboard letter layout.

Hello Alejandro_AC, yep, I checked and my other fn keys work except for (f2) and (f3).

I checked my settings, and my OS and keyboard language match (English - United States). I only have this language set as my keyboard layout as well.

The problem with my two keys still persist. What else can I check?

It occurs to me that it could be a physical problem with those keys.
Can you try with a USB keyboard?
Try also opening the virtual keyboard, run:
    OSK
