Why is my ACER USB-C Gen1 dock failing to update from version 8A.AF.06.02 to 8A.AF.07.02?

Hi,

I'm trying to update my dock device: ACER USB Type-C Gen1 Dock and Im getting the message:
Device Fail to Update, I have version 8A.AF.06.02 and i want to install 8A.AF.07.02

Any clue?

    @tcordoba85

    If you're having trouble updating the firmware on your Acer USB Type-C Gen1 Dock, try disconnecting everything, power cycling the dock and laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling the dock drivers, and then attempting the update again.

    Disconnect and Power Cycle. Disconnect the laptop from the dock, and unplug the dock's power adapter. Hold down the power button on the dock for 15-30 seconds to fully drain the power. Plug the power adapter back into the dock and wait for it to "boot" (15-30 seconds). Connect the laptop to the dock via the USB-C cable.

    Open Device Manager on your computer. Expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and uninstall all USB Host Controllers (and USB4 Host Router, if applicable). Restart your computer. Windows will automatically reinstall the drivers.
    After reinstalling the drivers, check if there are any updates available for the dock drivers.

    Now try updating the dock firmware :

    Fix the PD charging/discharging issue. (compatible with Win10 and Win11)
