Hi all, I have a sound issue with my device. I will click when turned on, click when I do video playback and click when I fast forward video. It is getting either irritating now, are there any fixes for this issue.

If your device is making clicking sounds when turning on, playing videos, or fast forwarding, you can try turning off the Windows sound to see if it might be the Windows sound.
Settings - System - Sound - More Sound Settings - Sound - "Sound Scheme" select "Silent" - Apply.

Try to remove and reinstall your audio driver in device manager
Press the Windows key ⊞ + X on your keyboard at the same time.
Select Device Manager. Expand the section for sound, video and game controllers.
Right-click and select Uninstall for each item in the sound, video and game controllers menu.
    Restart your computer

You can also download and install a driver from the Acer Support Site : Acer Support
Locate the driver you want to download and click on the download link. The file will be saved in your Downloads folder by default. Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the file. Right-click the downloaded ZIP-file and then click Extract All Files. Double-click the folder that has the same name as the downloaded file. Locate and double click the setup.exe or install.exe file you want to install. Click Yes when prompted to allow the app to make changes .

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Hi, the low volume is because of the very basic Realtek ALC255 audio chip and small speakers, you need a good quality headset for Hi-Fi sound or external speakers with a small build-in booster/amplifier. Both Media Player and DTS have equalizers that can boost the volume by 12db and turn on Enhancement in Advanced Sound settings, switch to Movie instead of Music in RTK Audio Console also helps.

The other issues are very easy to fix, read this forum how to uninstall the video driver in Safe mode with DDU and just reboot (don't install VGA driers) and change your User Account (not local but Microsoft) or create a new administrative account and then delete the old one.
