Acer Nitro AN515-58 won't turn on without battery reset, what could be the issue?

My laptop is only 1 year old. Out of nowhere, one morning it stopped turning on. The solution to that I found was to reset the battery. There is no reset pinhole on my model. I have to open the laptop, disconnect the battery for a few seconds, connect again. And then it turns on. If I leave the laptop to sleep/shutdown for a couple hours, it won't turn on again and I have to repeat the process.
Another problem that happened at the same time is that laptop won't go to sleep when I close the lid or press the power button. I have to manually put it to sleep from start menu. I already checked the "action when closing the lid" and all are set to sleep.
Another thing is that after I shutdown the laptop and I turn it on (after resetting battery) in the morning, the battery indicator shows almost empty. Even though it was fully charged before I shut it down.

I wondered if there is a BIOS issue and tried upgrading/downgrading. But the version check won't let me.
I also tried resetting the BIOS to default.
I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the CMOS battery. Didn't make any difference.
I tried leaving the laptop disconnected from battery (and CMOS battery) for an hour hoping for some potential static getting discharged. Nothing.

I have tried running diagnostics from cmd and nothing comes up as well.

If it is a hardware issue, I find it surprising to happen all of a sudden like that with the laptop just being 1 year old.

Do a Hard Reset again and do not press the power key. Take the main battery out then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and short its mainboard plug + & - pins with a metal flathead screwdriver to reset CMOS, take the ram out, leave the laptop like that for 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect all the components but, if you have 2x ram modules only reconnect one at the time and test the laptop with one ram module, if you have only one ram module try to use another ram module as it could also be the ram, so be aware of this also. The symptoms that your Nitro AN515-58 has could be from its EC chip that governs the on/off functions of your laptop and it could be freezing and/or its faulty and may need replacing.

If the hard reset doesn't work, then your Nitro 5 AN515-58 has either a faulty programable EC chip that needs replacing or a problem in its main power rail that needs a technician to diagnose and change the appropriate mosfet or capacitor chips that is causing this power on issues.
