ASPIRE 7 A715-75G CHARGING PROBLEMS-I spilled water on my adapter while my laptop was plugged in

Laptop Model: Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G

For context I spilled water on my adapter while my laptop was plugged in, I went to the nearest repair store and got a new charger and because my port was also affected, they changed my port. Now i am having some issues listed below.

My laptop charges absolutely fine when it is turned off.
When i turn on my laptop when it is plugged in it beeps twice which I don't remember happened before or not.
Now when my laptop is running and is plugged in it charges fine for about 4-5 mins then the blue and orange lights start flashing continuously and it stops charging (no charging icon).
When i use my laptop not plugged in the battery backup is normal (about 1.5 - 2 hours) so it is probably not the battery?

I have tried resetting my battery drivers and battery from the pinhole, but nothing worked, what do you guys think is it the charger or some issue with my laptop itself?

If your laptop charges for a short time then the lights start flashing continuously, indicating a potential issue with the new charger itself, the charging port on your laptop, or a problem with the battery management system, likely due to the charger not providing enough power consistently.

Is the new charger same as the 135W AC adapter that was shipped with your laptop?

It very well could cause damage but not just by using the charger but running it on the battery also. Immediately power off the laptop by hitting the power button. Next unplug the power cord from the laptop . Remove the battery if it is accessible. Grab a towel and place it over the keyboard immediately since a liquid spill goes down through the keyboard and makes it way to the motherboard and other internal parts, and connecting cables. Close the lid and turn the laptop over (the towel will keep the spill from getting into the lcd screen and its internal parts). Let it sit and dry out a couple of hours. Afterwards put the battery in (leave the power cord unplugged) hit the power button.

As per the model number ''pa-1700-02'' on the adapter, you have purchased an 65W. You laptop was shipped with 135W AC adapter, so make sure you use the right adapter for charging. Please google the part number KP.13501.007, KP.13503.007, KP.13501.008, KP.1350H.002 and get the right adapter.
