Hi there

I want to upgrade my RAM, my laptop has 8GB DDR5 4800MHZ.

May i know can i add anothet 8gb ram from any brand, or i need to get the ram from a specific brand?

I heard that need to use sam CL, which in my case after i use CPU-Z software mine is CL 40.0 clocks.

Btw i happen to see the "Max bandwidth" section on SPD shows "DDR5-5600 (2800)MHZ". What does it mean, does my laptop really need a 5600mhz ram?

I don't know why Acer fitted DDR5-5600MT/s CL46 type ram to your ANV15-41 laptop? As the AMD R57535HS or the R77735HS cpu’s fitted to the Nitro ANV15-41will not run 5600MT/s speed ram, it will run max 64GB total ram at DDR5-4800MT/s CL40.

Look in Task Manager > Memory for what your laptop ram speed is, as it should be at 4800MT/s ram speed, let us know what speed your laptop has, as it will be very interesting to know why Acer fitted DDR5-5600MT/s CL46 type ram to this laptop model? As this ram will be down clocked to 4800MT/s speed.

Also, your ANV15-41 will operate just fine with an additional 1x 8GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 type ram for a total of 16GB. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Go to Crucial ram upgrade for the Nitro ANV15-41 laptop, DO NOT USE THE Crucial recommends DDR5-5600MT/s CL46 type ram, USE ONLY THE DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 type ram kits that Crucial have, as the Acer listed ram from the ANV15-41 service guide above, is very hard to buy or sometimes its discontinued and also the Crucial ram is a Micron type ram and its allot cheaper and works 100% and just as well as the branded Samsung, Hynix, Kingston, Corsair or other fancy ram manufacturers. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

These are the only ram modules and kits that you should use for your Nitro ANV15-41 AMD cpu laptop as the ram sped is determined by the cpu specs.

Crucial 16GB kit, use 2x of the Crucial 8GB DDR5-4800 SODIMM
