Wassup everybody. I bought my laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-70ZV) two - two and a half years ago. I cleaned it twice, but in the last month one of the laptop coolers started making terrible sounds, these sounds are similar to something metal had been dropped into a meat grinder. I took it to the service center and they told me that the cooler was worn out and needed to be replaced. I found two coolers on eBay, both from this laptop model, but they are different, or from different manufacturers, I don’t know for sure. My laptop now has a cooler labeled FCN. I will attach photos of both coolers. The question is, does it make a difference which cooler to buy to replace the old one, or will they both fit my laptop?

    @Zeleal

    For the Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55-70ZV, the part numbers for the CPU and GPU fans are typically 23.QGPN2.001 and 23.QGPN2.002, respectively. These part numbers are crucial because they ensure the fans are designed to fit and function correctly with your laptop's motherboard and cooling system.

    If your current cooler is labeled FCN, it's likely a specific manufacturer brand. When choosing between the two coolers you found on eBay, check if either matches these part numbers or if they are explicitly listed as compatible with the PH315-55 series. Even if they are from different manufacturers, as long as they match the part numbers or are confirmed to be compatible with your model, they should work fine.

    I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
