Hello,

I am a proud owner of a Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro VN7-571G-75FY (I7-5500U, NVIDIA GTX 850M and 8 GB DDR3 L). I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade this laptop in any way. It's pretty good holding up but I think I can boost it a little bit more and fine tune it with new thermal paste, deep cleaning and a RAM upgrade. I can't find anywhere if it's even possible to upgrade anything on this model.

Thanks in advance!

Your Acer Aspire A715-51G has two DIMM slots that support DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM memory modules. The maximum memory capacity for your laptop is 16 GB, which can be achieved by using two 8 GB modules.

    Few recommended memory modules 8GB.

Replacing the thermal paste on your CPU and GPU can help improve cooling efficiency and reduce thermal throttling. With a bit of patience and careful handling, you should be able to apply thermal paste successfully. This involves disassembling the laptop, cleaning off the old thermal paste, and applying a new, high-quality thermal paste. Over time, dust and debris can accumulate inside your laptop, affecting cooling and performance. A thorough cleaning of the internal components, including the fans and heat sinks, can help maintain optimal performance.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
