Aspire3-While connecting docking station via USB gets msg-"Display connection might be limited ...."

I am getting the error message "Display connection might be limited" when I connect my docking station to my Acer Aspire 3 via USB. Below are my laptop specifications and detailed USB port information:

I have already tried all of these steps, but unfortunately, they didn’t solve the issue.

My docking station correctly recognizes LAN and USB connections, so those work fine.
HDMI also works when I connect the docking station to other computers, meaning the issue is not with the docking station itself.
My laptop does not have a USB-C port, so I am using a USB to USB-C adapter to connect the docking station. However, I don’t think the problem is caused by the adapter.

I suspect that my laptop might be missing a specific driver needed to make the display function through USB. Do you know if any additional drivers are required for this to work?

If your docking station uses DisplayLink technology, download and install the latest DisplayLink drivers from the DisplayLink website. Also, update your laptop's graphics drivers through the Device Manager or by visiting the graphics card manufacturer's website (e.g., Intel, NVIDIA, AMD).
