Both USB C ports sometimes do not work in Predator Helios Neo 16.

I have a Predator Helios Neo 16. While the system and firmware are all up to date, both USB C ports sometimes do not work and I have to reboot the laptop multiple times for the port to work.

Is there a fix to this?

I am running Windows 11 Pro. I have already tried updating drivers, and turning off USB port power saving setting in Windows.

It might be the USB-C cable/plug that you are using that is faulty, try another cable as that is the reason for these faults as your Helios Neo 16 should not have a damaged USB-C ports, as there are two on the back panel and both can't be faulty. Good luck.

    Hi.

Device manager shows no problems or exclamation marks.

I also tried multiple different cables but I am not sure why I cannot pin point the cause of the problem.

I am not sure if my external USB dock I am using is the cause but it always has been working fine.

I tested the USB port and it was not the problem.

Therefore, is this a hardware problem? Everything is up to date.

Loose connections or physical damage to the USB-C port or cable can lead to intermittent connectivity or complete failure. Try the following troubleshooting steps: Check the USB device: First, ensure that the USB device you're trying to connect is functioning properly. Test it on another computer if possible.

    Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I have already inspected the wires and tried both the wires and USB port on another computer and it works fine.

Not sure why I have troubles on the Predator laptop.

Both USB C ports have the same result.
