According to your model number, you are using an all in one pc.

    If your operating system is windows;

    • Open the device manager and check that your sound card is installed, if not, download and install the software from the acer website. If it is installed, proceed to the next step.
    • Go to the microphone privacy settings and check that the switch button is active, if not, activate it.
    • Finally, click on the sound icon in the lower right corner of your computer and click on the speaker in the opened place, sometimes there may be one or two. Then select the device that says monitor model.

    please let us know.

The biggest reason why the problems are not solvedis if someone who says there is a problem with the GPU says; If I change the case, will the problem be solved? That's the whole point! The concepts are different! We should not go off topic.

    I'm on vacation on June 6-7-8-9-10. :)

First, check your microphone settings by going to Settings > Sound > Input and ensuring the correct microphone is selected with the volume turned up. Next, allow microphone access in Settings > Privacy > Microphone to ensure applications can use it. Additionally, updating your audio drivers can resolve compatibility problem

If the microphone on your Acer Aspire C24 isn't working, you should start by checking if it's muted in Windows settings or if the microphone is enabled in the Device Manager. You can also try running the sound troubleshooter, updating the audio drivers, or testing an external microphone to pinpoint the issue.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check Microphone Settings:
      Mute:
Make sure the microphone isn't muted in the sound settings. In the Sound settings, check the Recording tab and ensure the microphone is not muted.
      Default Device:
Verify that your microphone is set as the default recording device in the Sound settings.
      Privacy Settings:
In Windows Settings, check the Microphone privacy settings to ensure that apps have access to your microphone and that the microphone access for the device is turned on.
    2. Device Manager:
      Enable Microphone:
Go to Device Manager (Windows Key + X, then Device Manager) and find your microphone under "Sound, video and game controllers." Right-click on the microphone and select "Enable" if it's disabled.
      Update Drivers:
If your microphone is enabled, you can try updating or rolling back the audio driver to see if that resolves the issue. In Device Manager, right-click on the microphone, select Properties, then go to the Driver tab and choose "Update driver" or "Roll Back Driver".
      Uninstall and Restart:
You can also try uninstalling the driver and restarting your computer to let Windows automatically reinstall it.
    3. Troubleshooter:
Sound Troubleshooter: Run the built-in sound troubleshooter in Windows Settings (System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Playing Audio or Recording Audio).
    4. Test with an External Microphone:
Test External Mic: If possible, test with an external microphone to see if the issue is with the built-in microphone or the audio interface.
