I recently purchased an Acer Aspire 3 A314-36P-3772, before purchasing I investigated whether it could be charged using the USB C that it has, since it has the line and the 3 dots that indicate that it supports DC in, I have tried different chargers that claim to work at 20v but do not charge, can someone confirm if they have managed to charge this model from the USB-C and with which charger they have managed to do it?

It seems that the Acer Aspire 3 A314-36P-3772 should support USB-C charging, but it requires a specific charger with the correct voltage and amperage. Make sure the charger you're using matches the specifications exactly.

Hi, use a special 100-W USB-C laptop charger with a thick fixed 5 Amp USB-C cord, not universal GaN phone gadgets, this one is available at Amazon: https://store.acer.com/en-us/100w-adapter-kit-with-power-cord

Yes, the laptop does support charging through its USB-C port. Connect or charge your newest devices on the full-function USB Type-C port. In addition, Wi-Fi 61,2 and HDMI 2.1 provides increased productivity, output and functionality.

Thanks everyone for the prompt response! I will look for a 20v charger

The problem is that on the official page they do not specify the DC in for this model and I had that doubt

@Puraw On my case my idea was to get a USB C hub to have expanded ports and connect 1 more monitor, but I had the doubt if I could use that hub with PD to charge my device or I had to use the charger that comes from the factory, in this case I think it will not work since I understand that the hub will be 5v and will not charge my laptop which needs 20v
