Hi

For the wireless card on this model Killer BE1750x and not the intel BE200. Noted that even though these 2 cards are should be the same, the BE1750x is not Wifi certified 7 yet (only BE200 is). Will this affect my network connectivity if my router is still a wifi 6 router?

The Predator PH18-72 has an Acer oem fitted Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200.NGWG.NVX Intel 2x2 M.2 2230 PCIe which exactly the same specs as the Killer 1750x / BT v5.4 type card which is an Intel® Wi-Fi 7 Series has a TX/RX Streams: 2x2 max speed of 5.8 Gbps (320MHz,4096QAM).

    Your PH18-72 doesn't have the Intel® Killer™ Wi-Fi 7 BE1750 which is a Wi-Fi 6E only and has a TX/RX Streams: 2x2, 320 MHz, 4K QAM / Max Speed5.8 Gbps

    OEM PH18-72 Killer 1750x card

You need a Wi-Fi 7 router to transmit this signal, the BE200 known as the Killer BE1750x is really a Wi-Fi 7 card and if you have a Wi-Fi 7 router you will get the speed. Good luck.

    This is the theoretical Wi-Fi 6E vs Wi-fi 7

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm abit confused in what you mentioned. Do you mean that this model does not have the Killer BE1750x card? Because I got the specifications off Acer's website here https://store.acer.com/en-sg/predator-helios-18-gaming-laptop-ph18-72-95y6 which says that this model comes with the BE1750x card. I am concerned if there will be backward compatibility issues with the Killer 1750x since it isn't WIFI Certified 7 (i read that only devices that are certified and guaranteed to have no compatibility issues) as I am using a Wifi 6 router now (but looking to upgrade in the future to a Wifi7).
