I have a ED320Q acer monitor and for some reason I’m getting no display like no “no input” message and I can’t even see the menu to try and switch inputs. When I plug it in the monitor lights up slightly like it’s black but it gets slightly lighter. I’ve tried power draining (unplugging all cables and holding power button for 30-60 seconds) I tried switching outlets with a known working one, didn’t work, I tried switching cables with one I know is working for my other monitor plugged into the same spot on my graphics card and still no luck. I don’t know what else I could do at this point any ideas would be appreciated.

Use a flashlight to shine on the center of the screen at an angle when first turning the power on. Do you see a faint indication of the splash screen logo? If so the backlight has failed. If nothing shows there the issue is something else. To try and figure anything out beyond that, we are going to need to know just which monitor model you have. There should be more letters after the "Q" that define better which one it is.

no it’s not backlight failure I shined a light and nothing showed up. The full thing is ED320Q X2bmiipx. Here’s some photos hopefully they help

Let me ask if there is any sort of factory test mode that would only display a solid blue screen…

If the monitor does not show up in the settings, use these steps before messing around with the configuration settings on Windows: Confirm the display is connected to a power source. Check whether the monitor is powered on. Turn the computer off and on to refresh the connection

It looks like the link in the initial post and your monitor aren't exactly the same model. The link points to a ED320Q Xbmiipx and yours is an X2 instead. I'm still working on pinning down what's needed to access the factory menu, typically it involves either holding a button down while turning it on or holding the joystick in a certain position while turning it on. Could you provide the first ten digits of your S/N (only the first ten) so we can fully verify the model?

Crossy Road If your Acer ED320Q monitor isn't displaying any menu or showing "No Input," the issue likely lies with incorrect input selection, faulty cables, or a potential problem with the monitor's power settings; try checking the input source on the monitor, ensuring the cables are securely connected, and performing a power cycle or monitor reset as the first troubleshooting steps.
