SpatialLabs Eye-Tracking Disables Itself when Viewing Static Images

Problem: When no motion is happening on the monitor (in my case a ConceptD SpatialLabs Laptop), the eye-tracking stops working. This happens with both SpatialLabs Player and SpatialLabs Go when viewing static images including when a video is paused. Doing something like moving the mouse reactivates the eye-tracking.

Is there a fix for this?

It seems like you're experiencing an issue where the SpatialLabs eye-tracking feature disables itself when viewing static images. Here are a few potential solutions you can try:

Adjust the In-and-Out Slider: Some users have found that adjusting the In-and-Out slider in the SpatialLabs settings can temporarily fix the issue. Moving the slider by any amount can re-enable eye-tracking, but it might stop working again if you return it to the default position.

Mouse Movement: Moving your mouse to bring up the user interface can sometimes "wake up" the eye-tracking feature. This might be a temporary workaround to get the eye-tracking working again.

Software Updates: Ensure that your SpatialLabs software and drivers are up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs and improve functionality.

If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Acer support for further assistance. They might have more specific solutions or updates that can address this problem. Acer Support

Try adjusting the In-and-Out slider by any amount to reactivate the eye-tracking. Additionally, using a small utility like "Mouse Jiggler" to simulate mouse movement can help keep the system active. Ensure that all your software and drivers are up to date by visiting the Acer website for the latest updates.
