Hi, your laptop model is PHN16-7, update your BIOS with version 1.18 from 2024/09/20 and "Check for updates" in Windows11. There is probably some conflict in your Power Plan settings, or you may be using Acer Care/Sense battery Calibration/Optimization/80% Charge limiter, reset the Power Plan in "Edit Power Plan", disable Fast Startup and Hibernate in "Change what closing the lid does" and in "Change settings currently unavailable", open Device Manager and uninstall the 2 battery drivers shown on the picture below. turn off the Acer Care/Sense options above and just reboot, see if the battery will charge.

If the problem persists, it might be related to the battery's health. You can generate a battery report in Windows to check the battery's condition. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command powercfg /batteryreport. This report will give you detailed information about the battery's performance and health. If the battery is significantly degraded, it might need to be replaced.

Additionally, the issue could be due to an internal hardware problem. In such cases, it's best to contact Acer support for further assistance. If you're still under warranty, they can help with a battery replacement or any other necessary repairs. You can find more information and contact details on the Acer Support page

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
