Hi. My NitroSense no longer responds to its designated key on the keyboard. It's happened once before. I fixed it using the recommended steps, but these now no longer seem to work.

Restarting the laptop doesn't work

Reinstalling NitroSense version 3.01 doesn't work. Also, the acer database no longer recognizes my SNID. I entered the number for the very first time day and it worked. Later that day it didn't.

Trying NitroSense version 4.0 doesn't work as it's apparently not supported.

This is very frustrating as the acer laptops regularly overheat.

We need to know just which laptop you have, since there are different versions of Nitro Sense for each model. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like ANxxx-xxx-xxxx. They also often do different versions for different BIOS versions, which BIOS are you running and are there updates to it available? Finally, there are often different versions of Nitro Sense for different OS builds, which OS do you have installed and which build? Windows 10 23H2, Windows 11 24H2, etc…

It's an old laptop so it looks a bit blurry but I think it's AN516-66-58WJ
