Bios unlock for PCIe speed settings on RTX 5090 with POX-950 (Predator X ITX System)

I have a POX-950 with a 4080 at the moment. I am willing to upgrade my vid card to a 5090 FE.

At the moment these cards have problems being connected to a PCIE 4.0 Riser cable. Exactly the connection I am going to use. Somehow the card wants to run on PCIE 5.0 which gives crashes/blackscreens. A solution to this problem is setting the PCIE speed to 4.0 in the bios (and not on automatic). But………..

The Bios doesn't give this option (i'm on version 1.03) to set it at that speed. Is there a way to do this? If there a way to fully unlock the bios? Will there be a update?

No, there isn't any access to that type of function in the BIOS. Sometimes Acer has a few hidden options, accessible through a CTRL-S on the page, but I don't think that feature is included.
