Hello everyone, I need your help. I have an Acer Predator Helios 16 PH16-71 laptop. After performing a hard BIOS reset (removing the CMOS battery), the Windows boot loader no longer recognizes my SSD. I have two SSDs, and the BIOS does recognize them, but not the boot loader.

I’ve tried troubleshooting and using the diskpart function in the command prompt, but I haven’t been able to resolve the issue. The only thing I can see is that the boot loader only recognizes my USB stick.

I’m wondering if I need to make some changes in the BIOS settings to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The problem has been resolved. I simply disabled the VMD controller, and everything is functioning normally now.
