It sounds like your laptop might be experiencing issues with the touchpad or mouse settings. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:

Disconnect External Devices: Disconnect if any external mouse or other peripherals to see if the issue persists.

Update Drivers: Go to Device Manager. Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" category. Right-click on your touchpad or mouse and select "Update driver."

Disable Pinch Zoom: Open Control Panel. Go to "Mouse" settings. Look for touchpad settings and disable "Pinch Zoom."

Adjust Touchpad Sensitivity: Navigate to Settings > Devices > Touchpad. Adjust the sensitivity to a lower setting.

Run Hardware Troubleshooter: Open Settings. Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot. Run the "Hardware and Devices" troubleshooter.

Check for Stuck Keys: Ensure that the Ctrl key or any other key isn't stuck, as this can cause zooming issues.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth checking for any recent software updates or changes that could be causing the problem.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Ensure that none of the keys on your keyboard are stuck, especially the Ctrl key, as this can cause zooming and clicking problems. Next, update the touchpad and keyboard drivers through Device Manager to ensure you have the latest versions. Additionally, navigate to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and adjust the sensitivity to a lower setting, and make sure the pinch zoom feature is disabled in the touchpad settings. You can also run the Hardware & Devices troubleshooter by going to Control Panel > Troubleshooting > Hardware and Devices and running the troubleshooter.

Without knowing what laptop you have, Answers like those are likely the best you are going to see. What laptop do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx.
