Battery Issue with my Acer Predator Neo 16

i have an acer predator neo 16 2023 model with i5-13500hx and rtx 4050. I left it with 80% charge limit and forgot to unplug it. I left it plugged for 20 hours. after that my battery charged fully and discharged fully in just 2 min. the battery capacity was originally 80,080 mWh but now it was just 1,780 mwh. and the battery health was 2%. I took it to a local battery specialist. he said that the cells in my battery were alright and were in good condition. and it was a software issue. he actullay fixed it and my health from 2% to 80%. but the problem again came after 1 month and the health went from 80% to 28% and again the battery charged and discharged in 5 min. got it checked again. they say that the cells are fine but it's a software issue. plz can anyone tell me what the issue is because the orginal battery is very expensive and I can't afford it.

Leaving the power adapter plugged in 24/7 is good practice either in suspended mode or with the laptop shut down and having the battery fully charged to 100% is the way to go with your gaming rig. None of this has anything to do with that battery "discharging" that you are describing. You may be trying to "Calibrate" or "Optimize" the battery with Acer Care Center and Acer Sense or even worse "Limit battery charging to 80%? Update BIOS with last month version and update Windows11 23H2 to build 22631.4751 or later. Disable Fast Startup and Hibernate in "Change what closing the lid does" and "Change settings currently unavailable". Reset the Power Plan to factory default in "Edit Power Plan" and open Device Manager, uninstall these 2 battery drivers and just reboot:

Charge your battery to 100% and make a battery report, paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert.

Check your battery usage in Windows11, overall and what background apps use a lot, either uninstall or disable those if not needed.

Do not try to limit the battery charging, useless and can cause power issues. Keep the battery fully charged.

First, check for software updates to ensure your laptop's operating system and all drivers are up to date, as updates can fix battery management issues. Next, fully charge your laptop to 100% and then use it unplugged until it shuts down automatically; repeat this process a few times to recalibrate the battery. Additionally, go to Control Panel > Power Options and ensure the settings are optimized for battery life by selecting the "Balanced" or "Power Saver" plan. You can also disable unnecessary startup programs in Task Manager to reduce battery drain. Lowering screen brightness and refresh rate can help extend battery life, and using the battery saver mode, if available, can also be beneficial.
