Version is 132.0.6834.190 (Official Build) (64-bit) and automatic updates are enabled, firmware up to date.

Uninstalling Chrome (while deleting my user data) and re-install it and check.
    Disable hardware acceleration.
Disable background apps running when Chrome is closed.
Triggering updates of all drivers (including the GPU), Windows, Chrome.

The issue of your Chromebook crashing during wake-up from sleep can be attributed to several factors. It might be due to a firmware glitch or a software bug in Chrome OS, which can cause instability during the wake-up process. External devices connected to your Chromebook, such as USB drives or peripherals, can also disrupt sleep mode. Incorrect power settings or configurations might be another reason. In rare cases, a hardware malfunction could be the root cause.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Temporary Fix: If your Chromebook doesn't wake up, try pressing the Power + Refresh + Escape keys simultaneously to restart it

Update Chrome OS: Ensure your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS. Go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for updates.

Powerwash (Factory Reset): If updating doesn't help, consider performing a Powerwash. This will reset your Chromebook to factory settings. Go to Settings > Advanced > Reset settings > Powerwash.

Check for Known Issues: Some models have known issues with sleep mode. Check Acer's support page for any specific updates or fixes for the CP714-1HN.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth checking for any recent software updates or changes that could be causing the problem

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

To address this issue, ensure your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS by going to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for updates and installing any available updates. You can also try pressing the Power + Refresh + Escape keys simultaneously and then releasing them to see if it helps. Additionally, performing a hardware reset by pressing and holding the Power button for 10 seconds to turn off the device, and then turning it back on, may resolve the issue.

Lots of AI answers there. :) The crash is likely going to be traced to either a corrupt OS installation or a bad app that's getting loaded at start. A power wash should help those out.
