So, I got my nitro n50-656 at staples with a warranty, everything works fine with it except the power supply/cord makes a weird electric noise. Also 1 move of the cord and it shuts off i am not sure if it's the PSU outlet or the cord. I am wondering if i should just go to staples for help.

    Hi @Moustafa

Given the symptoms you described, it sounds like there might be a problem with either the power supply unit (PSU) or the power cord. Here are a few steps you can take:

Inspect the Power Cord: Check the power cord for any visible damage or wear. If the cord is damaged, replacing it might resolve the issue.

Check the PSU Connection: Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to the PSU and the wall outlet. A loose connection can cause the system to shut off when the cord is moved.

Listen for Unusual Noises: The electric noise you mentioned could indicate a problem with the PSU. If the noise persists, it might be a sign that the PSU needs to be replaced.

Since you have a warranty and purchased the computer from Staples, I recommend reaching out to Staples for assistance. They can help diagnose the issue and provide a solution, whether it's replacing the power cord or the PSU.

I hope this helps!  If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
