Acer Predator PHN16-71 and cannot get speed over 1.0GB via cable or 320 Mbps via Wi-Fi, even though my router gives speed of 2.0GB.

Max via ethernet cable CAT 6 is 680 – 700 Mbps and Wi-Fi 320 Mbps.

Checked with other devices like my phone who gets 974 Mbps via Wi-Fi and my desktop that gets 1.9 Gb speed.

Is there a way to allow/adjust higher speed and if yes, how?

Tried Speed and Duplex settings, latest drivers' installation and still no higher speed.

Use a CAT7 or 8 cable for max speed and also be aware that the PHN16-71 WLAN Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i has a maximum speed of 2.4 Gbps and its not a true Wi-Fi 6 or 6E or a 7 card speed that go to 5Gbps.

However, users have reported that they do not always achieve this speed in practical use with the Killer AX1650i Wi-Fi 6 card. For example, one community member with an AN515-57 reported speeds of no more than 350 Mbps, even when using routers that support higher speeds.

Its the same with the Intel® Killer™ E2600 Ethernet chip that is the LAN chip in the PHN16-71 that has a maximum speed of 1 Gbps (gigabit per second). This means it can handle up to 1000 Mbps (megabits per second). If you need higher speeds, you would need to upgrade to a different Ethernet controller that supports speeds above 1 Gbps. good luck and hope this clarifies this problem for you.
