So my laptop acer Nitro v15 with RTX 2050 and intel core I5 gen 13 just got fixed from a water spilled accident, i fixed it on a local service not on a official acer service center. They changed my LCD because it's broken so bad and they said theres no problem at all in the internal component, but now i got a really bad frame drops on games like fc 25 and delta force. I try to play different games like Guardians of the galaxy game and i only got 22 fps on low settings which is crazy. after the service there was a period where everything was okay, but a couple weeks ago the frame drop starts to happen. I bought a 165 hz monitor and it helps a little on fc25 but other than that game it still have issues. any thoughts or opinions?

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the frame drop issues:

First, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website. Outdated drivers can cause performance issues in games.

Next, check for thermal throttling. Overheating can cause the CPU and GPU to throttle, leading to frame drops. Make sure your laptop's cooling system is working properly. You might want to clean the fans and vents or use a cooling pad to help keep temperatures down.

Adjust your power settings to high-performance mode in the power settings. This can help ensure that your CPU and GPU are running at their full potential, which is crucial for gaming performance.

Also, check for any unnecessary background processes that might be consuming system resources. Close any applications that you don't need while gaming to free up resources for your games.

Run a system diagnostic to check for any hardware issues that might have been missed during the repair. Tools like Windows Memory Diagnostic or third-party software can help identify any underlying problems.

Finally, try reinstalling the games. Sometimes, game files can get corrupted, and reinstalling them can resolve performance issues.

If these steps don't help, it might be worth taking your laptop back to the repair shop or contacting Acer support for further assistance. There could be an underlying hardware issue that needs to be addressed.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance.
