So basically what I'm going to do is take the connectors for my old power supply and splice them into the 18 + 10 pin PSU to 10 pin 12vo motherboard cable to a crosshair PSU and their adaptor cable.. Looking at the ten pin layout for the 12AO adaptor
I can splice the 5v pulldown for power on. 12v constant(+12v SB
And it shouldn't matter which one I use for 12v sense for regulation.
And the power ok I assume is 12v as well.
Only problem is I don't know which ones the constant, power ok and sense pins so I can splice the 10 pin motherboard side with the existing connectors.
Has anyone found the motherboard pin out?
I don't have a videocard right now but it'll still power up and I can probably check it.
I could probably find.the 12 sv by sticking a #18 into the pin connector and test it with my meter to eliminate that same with the 5v pulldown. Tgat being said I think the power ok and sense are both just 12v correct so I just have to find the 12 feedback from the board.
With that being said I would rather just have the pin out that way I don't burn everything up. Lol
