Hi, i have the swift go 14 sfg14-63 AMD Ryzen 7 8845hs, 16gb ram and 512gb rom laptop. I was wondering if the storage is upgrade-able (so far, I think it is) and if anyone is kind enough to let me know what type of SSD I should get. Also, can I add an SSD greater than 512gb on the empty slot?

Hi, you can add an M.2 PCIe SSD to the Acer Swift Go 14 SGF14-63. This model has two M.2 PCIe x4 slots for SSD upgrades. One slot is located near the battery, and the other is concealed under a ribbon cable near the fans. Both M.2 slots are PCIe Gen 4 x4 slots, and they can support 2 TB NVMe SSDs like the latest Samsung PCIe5 990 Evo Plus SSD.

Your Acer Swift Go 14 SFG14-63 does offer upgradeable storage. You can indeed add an SSD greater than 512GB in the extra slot available in your laptop. The laptop has two M.2 PCIe x4 slots that support Gen 4 SSDs, one positioned to the right of the battery and the second concealed under the ribbon cable near the fans
