I am trying to upgrade my wifi card in my AN17-51 laptop to take advantage of the 5GB internet plan I have. I can not get it to work. Bluetooth works just fine but it does not recognize my wifi adapter. If I put the old card back in, it works. So I know the issue isn't the antennas. I was told by acer that the laptop should be able to use the BE200 card, but nothing I have tried works.

I have PC: Nitro AN17-51

Processor: i7-13700H

I have tried windows 10, older version of windows 11, and the latest version of windows 11. I have updated the drivers but still no wifi only bluetooth.

My son has PC: Nitro AN517-55

Processor: i5-12500H

Both laptops have AX201NGW wifi cards. If I put the BE200 in his laptop, it works. If I put it in my laptop it will not work. I dont understand how we can have the same existing wifi card but only his will work with the BE200 card.

I would appreciate any help on how to get it to work or info on why it wont work.

Is there a better wifi card that would work for me. As part of the 5Gb internet plan, my router was upgraded to the eero max 7. So I am trying to do what I can to get the fast internet out of my setup.

    Hello!

It sounds like there's a compatibility issue with the BE200 card and your Nitro AN17-51 laptop. Ensure you have the latest drivers and BIOS updates. If it still doesn't work, consider using another compatible Wi-Fi card, like the Intel AX201NGW or AX200NGW, which should work with your laptop. Given your 5GB internet plan and Eero Max 7 router, these cards should support the fast internet speeds you need.
