Video games perform better with a dGPU card and Optimus turned on, if you disable the AMD iGPU you will have issues with the regular programs. Optimus can be disabled in BIOS Display Setting but that will not disable Integrated graphics.

You cannot disable the iGPU. Your laptop does not have a mux switch so the iGPU is hardwired to the internal display and is needed for any image. Disabling integrated graphics may improve performance & enhance overall performance as it allows the system to optimally put the dedicated graphics card to use.
Disabling the integrated graphics in Device Manager may not necessarily "brick" your laptop, but it can lead to display issues, and you might lose access to your laptop's display until you re-enable it.

To temporarily disable integrated graphics on your HP Pavilion 15-ec1000, open Device Manager, disable your integrated graphics card (e.g., Intel Iris Xe Graphics), and restart your computer. Alternatively, use the NVIDIA Control Panel to prioritize your RTX 3050 for specific games Official Site. Remember to re-enable integrated graphics after gaming.
