Hi everyone, can somebody explain to me what this is? it is only noticeable on dark grey/blue, but I am afraid it could get worse and I would also like to understand the cause. I noticed it suddenly yesterday. I do not know if it can be useful to say that I use the laptop every day for many hours, but I only use chrome. You can't see it well from the photo but the line runs vertically across the entire screen

Vertical lines on a monitor are one of three core problems: the display panel itself is defective, the connection between your computer and the display is faulty, or it's receiving erroneous information.
Vertical lines on an LCD display are typically caused by hardware malfunctions. This can include problems with the LCD panel, such as dead pixels or damaged liquid crystals, faulty ribbon cables, or issues with the graphics card.
Different coloured thin lines on laptop screen (both horizontal and vertical) — These thin lines usually indicate a screen failure. Coloured bars shown on screen (both horizontal and vertical) — While quite similar to the thin lines of a screen failure, these bars are much wider.
How to Fix Vertical Lines on a Computer Screen?
    Tip 1: Identify the Cause.
    Tip 2: Restart Your Computer.
Tip 3: Check the Video Cable and Ports.
    Tip 4: Adjust Display Settings.
Tip 5: Test with Another Monitor.
Tip 6: Check the Monitor Power Supply.
Tip 7: Examine the Graphics Card.
    Tip 8: Run Diagnostic Tools.

The vertical line on your laptop screen, especially noticeable on dark backgrounds, could be caused by a faulty display cable, a damaged LCD panel, graphics card issues, or loose internal components. Check for the line on an external monitor, update graphics drivers, run hardware diagnostics, and inspect for physical damage. If the issue persists, consult a technician.
