The Aspire A715-79G is an Indian specific model released for Acer India and we have no information and/or a service guide on this Aspire model and we can't advise you precisely on drivers and/or on anything with this laptop, unless there are other Acer community members that have this exact laptop, we can't give you specific advice as the A715-79G model laptop doesn't come up on Acer support page. Contact Acer India for tech support, as we have absolutely no information on this model laptop. Good luck.

Turn it back on and immediately start tapping the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu. Check the main tab to see if there's an option to disable the backlight timeout. Next, visit Acer's official website and check for any BIOS updates for your specific model. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve issues with the keyboard backlight.

You can also perform a power drain by shutting down the laptop, unplugging all cables, and pressing and holding the power button for about 30 seconds. This can reset the hardware and potentially fix the issue. Ensure you're using the correct keyboard shortcut to toggle the backlight, typically it's Fn + F9 or Fn + F8, but this can vary by model. Finally, check your Windows power settings to ensure the keyboard backlight isn't disabled there by going to Settings > System > Power & sleep and adjusting the settings accordingly. Also Please update the FN and OSD in the store and then restart your device.
