AN515-55. Acer Nitro 5 Laptop Occasional Power Problem

I've had my Acer Nitro 5 laptop for around 4 years now and it's worked relatively well with some weird problems along the way, but I've been having this problem on and off for about a year.

What happens is, occasionally when I go to open my laptop, my screen won't automatically turn on (as it usually does when it's sleeping —> open) and any attempt to turn it on will not work. I will have the laptop open to 90 degrees (as shown in the diagram) yet the power light will continue blinking orange, the power button will not turn the laptop on, and any mouse or keyboard input will not do anything. Contrarily, when I open my laptop to only around 5 degrees (measured), I will hear my laptop exit sleep mode (fans will start up), my screen will turn on, and the backlit keyboard will also turn on. Everything works normally (keyboard, screen, mouse) when it's at 5 degrees but obviously, I can't use it if I don't have a separate monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Currently, I am typing on an external keyboard, using a monitor and a mouse and everything is fine (the laptop is propped open with an old remote). I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for fixing this problem.

It will likely resolve itself later today, as I've said, it's recurring and random, but I don't want it to happen if I'm in class and I have no other way to access my notes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
