acer a315-24p-r5wo charging issues, Orange and Blue lights flashing after Overheating adapter

I recently just bought this laptop 23 days ago and now it doesn't charge. If I do, the orange and blue indicators blink at the same time. I don't really know the cause but sources say it's because of a faulty battery or adapter. I'm guessing it's the adapter. I haven't tested using a different compatible charger yet though, but any thoughts?

More info: Before this all happened I was doing my everyday research while 'charging' and after a while I touched the adapter and it was VERY hot. Maybe it overheated?

Even more info: Sometimes when I use the laptop with the charger plugged in sometimes it randomly disconnects and I have to replug it to the power outlet to charge. "Before the 'More info'."

Hi, you have one year warranty on the adapter and on the battery, just bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to check this or submit online a "Repair under warranty" ticket to Acer Support and wait for a response by e-mail.
