How can I install LINUX MINT ON MY ACER ASPIRE TC 780 DESKTOP

Hello Acerites,

Maybe you're in the predicament I am.

I own an Acer TC 780 Computer that WILL NOT qualify for windows 11😒

It has 16 gb memory, PROCESSOR not qualified without TPM 2.

I am looking for instruction on how to install LINUX Mint-Cinnamon on this Computer.

I want to be sure I am getting a LEGITAMATE Non malware infested version. Please be kind and give me clear instructions.

I have installed and upgraded computers for nearly 40 years using Windows only, just need to get more familiar with LINUX.

This is not my Main computer and so there is some "wiggle room" for trial and error.

I'm a guitarist who uses this for music and video…some internet. Not a gamer.

make a bootble usb of linux mint or ubuntu or fedora all are same if you like cinnamon or gnome or kde that is the difference

for secureboot you need to select BOOTX64.EFI as a secure boot file that is all.

for music and video you have many apps that will work if you need any other help contact the respective forums i know ubuntu and fedora have a good community with knowledgeable persons unlike acer
