Volume and Brightness keys not working on my laptop, pressing random spots instead

Hello , I tried using the keys for the volume and the brightness adjustments but they're not working and instead are pressing on random spot in the computer.

We are going to need more information, and perhaps some better clarity. What computer do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. What OS is it running? On most laptops the keys for volume and brightness adjustment are shared with the function keys (F1, F2, etc.), do you have those keys in media mode or in function key mode? When you say "pressing on random spot", what do you mean?
