Why does my Acer SwiftGO see my HP Color Laserjet printer as offline?

I bought my Acer Swift GO laptop because it was FAST, which it is, but I have had continuous little problems with it and have spent almost as much on tech consultant services as the price of the laptop in the first 3 months. For the past 3 months the laptop tells me that my HP color laserjet printer is OFFLINE and I have to go to the Print Spooler to put it back online. It will stay online for a few hours then revert back to offline. BUT my husband's laptop is on the same wifi and it NEVER says the printer is offline. What correction does my laptop need?

It might be an issue with the HP drivers, they should be periodically looking for the printer on your WiFi network to keep that status updated. Are both laptops using the same version of the drivers? I would expect the printer itself to stay at the same network address almost all the time, unless you have something which takes the whole network down at the same time, like a power outage.

First, restart the Print Spooler Service. To do this, press ⊞ Win + S to open the search bar, type "services," and click on "Services." Scroll down to find "Print Spooler," right-click on it, and select "Restart." Next, check your network settings by going to Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi > Manage known networks and removing any unknown networks. After this, reboot your laptop. Finally, ensure your HP printer is set as the default printer. Navigate to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, find your HP printer, and set it as the default.
