I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN517-54 laptop, after updating the driver and Windows only uses integrated graphics, NVIDIA only works if I reinstall the latest driver, but after restarting the PC it only uses integrated graphics. I tried changing the graphics settings for individual programs (nvidia control center won't let me do it because of Windows) in the windows-display-graphics settings, but nothing helps. I'm attaching photos of how the graphics work before and after reinstalling the NVIDIA driver,Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you for your answers.

Does this happen only in the benchmark or every game?

Every game and app uses integrated graphics. I downloaded the benchmark just to show you. It does say Nvidia graphics card but according to the task manager, during the benchmarking process Intel integrated graphics were used like any other application. Nvidia only works for a while after reinstalling the driver and then everything switches back to Intel UHD

Do you still see the Nvidia GPU in the device manager?

Yes but the usage is 0% and the temperature is only 50-55 Celsius. After reinstalling the driver it works normally, I start the game, but after half an hour during the game it starts using only Intel UHD

Edit:Sorry, I thought you wrote task manager, yes in device manager I see Nvidia graphics too

Try this: turn off the laptop, unplug the charger, and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Also, try to update the BIOS if it does not help.

@AnhEZ28 I just tried installing an older Nvidia driver (November) and it worked, but it was strange that both graphics cards (integrated and Nvidia) worked at the same time when playing games, about 30% integrated and 30% Nvidia. Is this okay?

That is fine. The processed graphics from the Nvidia GPU has to go through the Intel GPU.

hi, so I tried updating to the new one again over the old driver, then I tried your advice (turning off and unplugging the laptop and then holding the power button for 15 seconds) it didn't do anything visually but then I turned the laptop on, I played for an hour without a problem and I tried turning it off and on twice and it still works. so I don't even know if it's the new installation of the new driver over the old one or your advice, but thank you very much for your help. I would also like to ask what exactly holding the power button for 15 seconds did? (just out of curiosity) Thank you and have a nice day
