Issues with Predator 18, USB ports stay powered after shutdown and WOL problems

I just received my Predator 18, and I am encountering several issues:

1 - Even after disabling it in PredatorSense, the USB ports remain powered on after the PC is shut down, both when powered via the electrical network and on battery.2 - WOL works when used a few minutes after the PC is turned off, but after a few hours, I can no longer restart the PC via WOL.

    @ArthEM

    Try to update the BIOS to see if that fixes the issue.

    You probably haven't updated and/or setup this laptop properly which these laptops need to function properly. Here are the answers to your two points:

    1. By default everything that is connected to a USB port stays on when the laptop shuts down, like speakers, keyboard, mouse, webcams. their power lights are on. the only way to shut them off is unplug them from the USB ports or turn the computers power off at its power supply.
    2. The WOL needs to be set up properly as you probably didn’t do that, see this guide “How to Enable Wake on Lan Function”.
