ACER Predator Orion 3000 PO3-640 Screen went black and continuous beeps, 1 long 2 short,

Screen went black and continuous beeps, 1 long 2 short, tried a new graphics card and the same issue tried re seating ram 1 at a time, shop I took it to is not sure, could be motherboard or the chip? How would I find what chip it is. Thanks

    Also i noticed when the beeping comes on the lights on my keyboard goes off, so im guessing it takes the power away

    Which model ?

    My PO3-655 with an Nvidia RTX 4060 had the same issue late last year and under warranty they replaced the GPU.

    Fried card (no power) and dead HDMI port as well.

    Replaced under warranty.

    Hi @Montyy91 one long beep and two short beeps indicate a problem with the video in most BIOS, have the equipment checked by technical support.

    They checked graphics card with another and same problem, stuck with what to do with it

    Does the Intel have an onboard GPU ? If so, does that give you a signal out ?

    I'm not sure if mine was a faulty GPU or faulty power supply to the board that damaged the card.

    Do you connect direct to a monitor or via an AVR ?

    Yeah, it's going to be a bit tough to diagnose from here… It's telling you there's an issue with the GPU card, but your technician tried a different card which gave the same error. That points toward a motherboard problem with that GPU slot. Here is all Acer says about beeps on your model:
