Aspire A315-58 microphone issue after recording settings change - can't revert settings

I have an Aspire A315-58, running Windows 11 home, and I have a problem with my built-in microphone.

I once had to change some settings so I could record the audio from what the system was playing, like to use audacity/sound recorder to record the media that I was playing.

After that, I haven't been able to make it work again with the regular microphone, so now I depend on external microphones to use my laptop if I need to be in a videocall or send voice notes.

The drivers are all updated and I did all the troubleshooting steps possible, nothing worked.

I am pretty sure it has to do with enabling the stereo mix / wasapi , but now I can't find the way to reverse. Can anyone help me with this please? Thank you

You can try to reinstall the Audio driver.
