Hi, I switched Windows to Linux, in my Acer Predator PHN16-71 laptop now I'm unable to control fan speed or keyboard RGB, i checked in my BIOS [ V1.18 ]. it does not have any option to control the fan or RGB backlight, i tried all software for fan control it none worked because my bois does not give apis to control these hardware.

I'm using Predator PHN16-71
Bios version 1.18

CPU : 13th Gen Intel i7-13700HX

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8GB VRAM)

Due to the hardware restrictions of Acer laptops, they primarily support Windows. As a result, you cannot control the fan speed or keyboard backlighting without Windows-specific drivers and software. At the time of writing, Acer's drivers and necessary components are only available for Windows. While using programs like NitroSense seems like a potential solution, attempting to run them through Wine or Bottles results in a mismatched OS error.

This raises the question of why Acer requires Windows to access its application. Alternatively, you could set up a Windows virtual machine to control these features.
