I have an Acer Nitro XZ342CUP monitor for my ps5, And I noticed that the monitor sometimes turns off and on again immediately. I searched everywhere without finding an answer. I don't know if I need to update the driver, Can anyone tell me if this is a serious problem? I just got the monitor.

No that's not really serious, it's normal that the tape covering the edges of the display allows a little of the backlight to bleed through, with that result. It's really only noticeable under conditions like you show, with a solid color covered the whole area that not too light or dark.

Almost every time we hear of a symptom like that, it's due to the power cable not seating well into the monitor, allowing a glitch. Make sure it's fully seated…

Hi, thanks for replying. I checked everything is connected to the socket and in the monitor, but I found out that there are many things connected to this socket. Is it possible that this is the problem? Because I really appreciate Acer and his stuff.

It's possible, depending on what else is plugged in. Try plugging in only the monitor and computer.

I can't do that, by the way i play on ps5. But the strange thing is that the television I had never did it. Anyway, there is an xbox series X. two tv connected and some small leds for the closet. It is a single connection that my dad made. And I asked him and he said that the Electric System is old. But I would like to know why this does it And why didn't TV do it?. And if there is any way to fix it. I repeat that I cannot disconnect the other things.

The monitor likely pulls more power than the TV did.

Oh. Thanks For your patience. If it's not too much trouble, I have one last question. The corners of the monitor have this "light". In the photo it looks more serious but it is not that serious. It is just a little Backlit. I would like to ask you if it is serious or not. The monitor I recently got it. I forgot to write that it is only visible on black screens. Thanks in advance… ❤️

I've got the same issue with mine. Randomly while using it with my laptop my Acer XZ342CU V3BMIIPHX. It's becoming annoying to be honest. I may have to contact Acer to replace it. Did you have any luck correcting your issue?

Honestly It still happens sometimes. But I've been told it could be an electrical problem. However the monitor wastes F. And I also have an old electrical system. Maybe you also have a problem like mine. (I don't know if it's seriously an electrical problem)

If your Acer Nitro XZ342CU monitor is intermittently turning off and on, try checking the power cable connection, ensuring all cables are securely plugged in, and adjusting power-saving settings in your monitor's menu or PC's operating system.
Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into both the monitor and the wall outlet. Ensure all cables connecting the monitor to your PC (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) are firmly connected.
Also Try a different cable to rule out a faulty cable as the issue.
