XV272U. Is my monitor dead, on life support, or able to be saved?

I have an Acer monitor. Model # XV272U. Manufactured May 2021. I recently rebooted my desk top and the monitor would not turn on. I hooked up other monitors and everything is fine with the new setup. I am trying to decide whether to bring the old one to the recycling center or salvage it for use on a docking station to my laptop. Any thoughts? I would not spend anything significant to fix it because it was not expensive to begin with, but if I can just replace a cheap fuse or throw a toggle, I will do that. Any thoughts?

With the monitor disconnected from all video sources, but with the power plugged in, do you get an LED status light showing when you turn it on? Do you see the splash screen while it's booting?

I completely disconnected and got NOTHING when I plugged it in. I then brought it to a diffferente power strip in a different room in the house, unplugged a lamp tht worked so I knew the outlet worked, plugged the monitor in, and got . . . NOTHING.

Then that is trying to tell you it's dead… :( It might just be the power supply though. There are a bunch of different XV272U models though, and the newer ones use different power than the older ones. What are the rest of the letters after the "U"?
