aspire 5 n20c5 black screen. not ACER logo nothing. Batery full charged.

Suddenly when I turned on my laptop, now the sreen is on black, not ACER logo nothing. Batery full charged, I reseted with battery button, testing with charged connected, and always same result turn on the laptop and screen is black, the fan is working. Before to see this issue, I saw one windows 11 update but I turned off the system pressing the power buttonn during the shutdown I ssaw the screen started to fail something like a flex signal, so I openned and the cable looks ok, other procedures that I made where, remove and back again the memory, remove the ssd hard drive and return it, unplug the battery, un plug the CMOS battery, and always same result black screen, blue led on hard drive signal in the laptop and fan is working. Only a couple times very random not more, I had the ACER logo and then the blue screen, where if I remember well one time was about Memory, for that reason I unplug,clean, and plug again, and other time something as page-noDetected-noPageArea, something like that, but againonly black screen,and not ACER logo. This is a 'new' laptop that I bought on 'Octuber 2024' in walmart Mexico. Any suggest.

The main blunder you did is that you power reseted your laptop while Windows Update.
I know sometimes the update takes so long that, the users get impatient and take this kind of action, but it can affect your pc in many ways depending on what the update was for.

Like if the update was doing some changes to your firmware or BIOS, than power resetting at that time is a huge blunder, in your case if you are lucky, then maybe your BIOS or Firmware is not affected, and you can try to access the BIOS by pressing f2 key on your keyboard, another thing you can try that is to unplug your storage device from your pc and boot your device without the strage drive, if you see the logo, than you are lucky and you can freshly intall windows again, but even after removing the storage device, if the logo does not come, then maybe its a sign of BIOS failure, and your motherboard is dead and there will be a very less chance to recover from that issue.

Thanks for your answer, I continue with only black screen, only 2 or 3 times I could see acer logo and then the blue screen and then reboot and the black screen is again. I can not enter to BIOS because the black screen is always present. I want to try to make a clear CMOS or Hard Reset of th BIOS, but I do not sure how to do that. The point is that very random I can see the acer logo, so I hope not BIOS issue, but I want to clear it, I know there is a way to do that because one time I reset one PC to fabric BIOS.

Here in Mexico the dignostic center is too far and it is expensive, So I want to try all the optional things before to declare dead this laptop.

Yeah if you have seen the acer logo sometime, then maybe the files required to boot the system have been corrupted and needs a repair…..
Do all these things step by step and I hope it will work, and you will succeed in repairing your computer for free!

Note: All your data will be deleted and will be hard to recover if you follow these steps.

Step1: Disassemble your laptop, and unplug the ssd.

Step2: Buy a usb to sata/nvme cable. (Its very cheap in India.)

Step3: Plug the ssd/hdd into another computer.

Step4: Go to This PC, and locate the SSD and format it.

Step5: Unplug the SSD, and then plug it back into your laptop, and try to boot.

Step6: Though there will be no OS in your storage device but still, since there will be no corrupted booting file, the BIOS will not hang before even showing the logo…..

Step7: Install Windows

Also you can simply buy a new SSD to change all these things.

If all these steps don't work then you can try replacing your ram stick.
I hope if your motherboard is not dead or corrupted, then following these steps will definitely recover your system at a very cheap rate. Also if you face any kind of problem following these steps or think you will break something, then simply hand it over to the service centre.

First guys, Thanks for the great help.

My laptop has not warranty, and also ACER support did not help me, just send the laptop and with diagnostic cost they will tell me if they can solve my problem or not.
So I followed all the steps that you justed and everything looks Ok with the hardware, but the problem continues. So I made some additional steps, and checking voltajes the KBC looks ok, all the 'important' test points looks with the correct voltaje, so all appears that BIOS is the problem, I will try to reprogramming the SOIC BIOS and see what happens. I need to wait to do it because I do not have the correct tool to do it, but ASAP I make this I will feedback.
