My computer, as of this year, has been glitching out randomly at least once an hour. I don't know why this is happening. This is the only laptop I own. I've gone through 3 Acer Chromebooks since 2018 so buying another isn't an option at this moment. I just need this computer to last me to senior year. I got this computer in March of 2023 so its a year old.

I have reset my computer 3 times, power washed it, checked for viruses, everything. It just doesn't work. I make sure that it's up to date every time I open it.

I try to screen record whenever this happens, but I guess its too big to submit so I'll just describe what happens.

If I try to open a tab or window, it immediately gets closed. The launcher will starting going on and off and the mouses double click will go on and off randomly. Whenever I'm working on a Google doc, it will start to randomly edit it or just delete it entirely.

Please help! Thank you!

That sounds like something is clicking or moving the mouse for you. You don't tell us which Chromebook you have, so it's a little tough to do much diagnosis. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like xxxxx-xxx-xxxx. Does it have a touch screen? Do you use the touchpad or an external mouse? Is there any chance you are actually looking at a stuck key?
