How to make Acer Predator XB XB271HUA Monitor detect USB (wireless) Headphones for sound output?

Hi all,

I want to use my Acer Predator XB XB271HUA as a TV without the PC. I connected a blue-ray player via HDMI port and since the speakers of the monitor are weak, I want to have the sound ouput via my headphones.

The monitor recognizes my old headphones through the normal 3.5mm sound jack, but it doesn't if I connect my new headphones via the USB port on the monitor. Wireless or not.

My question is there a possibility to make the monitor detect my USB headphones or simply change the sound output on the monitor like you can choose with the video input between HDMI and Display-port?

The monitor doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. Does your Blu-Ray player allow a Bluetooth headset connection? The USB on the monitor is just a hub, which allows you to connect several devices to your computer with just the one connection, it doesn't have any connection to audio.
