Unfortunately the battery may not be recoverable if allowed to discharge below the critical 5% level. But try this. With the laptop off & plugged in, wait for at least 24 hrs to see if the battery charge LED ever turns from blinking/ steady orange to steady blue If not, you should replace the battery.

Try not to let it discharge again below about 10% level. Every time it drops below the critical 5% charge level, there is a high risk of it not being recoverable.

    Hello, good afternoon.
With the laptop unplugged, press Power for 30 seconds.
    Then try turning it on.

First, unplug the charger and disconnect all peripherals. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the back of your laptop, indicated by a battery symbol. Insert a pin and hold it for more than 5 seconds to reset the battery. Wait for about 15 minutes, then plug the charger back in. Wait until the battery charge LED turns steady orange, then blue, before attempting to power on the laptop again. Additionally, check the battery's condition using the Windows battery report, as laptop batteries typically last around 1,000 full charge cycles or 4-5 years. If the problem persists, ensure your Windows operating system is up to date.
