Hi everyone, I now have a Mac and an Acer laptop, and I want to make a Windows 11 bootable USB drive on the Mac to install it on my Acer laptop. But I can't find a suitable method, and I'm afraid that I'll crash the system if I make a mistake. Is there any simple and effective tutorial or tool recommendation that can help me make a Windows 11 bootable usb on a Mac? I hope the steps are simple and not too complicated!

As far as I know, the official Media Creation Tool for making Windows 11 bootable USB is only available for Windows PC. The setup file is an exe and can't run on a Mac. This also applies to other bootable USB creation tools. Go and search in the Mac app store and check if there is tool available for creating Windows 11 bootable USB on Mac.

Yes, I also know that the official Media Creation Tool can only be used on Windows, which is really inconvenient! And most of the common startup disk creation tools do not support Mac, which is even more troublesome. I searched around in the Mac App Store and didn't find a particularly suitable one. I feel that there are still relatively few tools that support Windows 11.

Does anyone know any useful tools that can directly create a Windows 11 bootable usb on Mac? It would be best if it is simpler and does not require too many steps! If I really keep going, I'm afraid my head will explode😂!

Download the ISO for the Windows version you wish, and flash the drive using the ISO. That process is OS independent.

I had a pretty frustrating experience with WinDiskWriter. The interface was confusing, and it kept crashing halfway through the process. It wasn’t reliable at all, and I almost gave up. But then I found WinBooMate, and wow—it worked perfectly! Super easy to use and no issues at all. Definitely my go-to now.
