Hello,

I just bought the computer and turned it on yesterday, where I did all the drivers update, but also a BIOS update because the computer has a CPU i7 14700F and I know there were issues with intel 14th gen but apparently, they deployed a BIOS fix which is the one I downloaded.

After I did everything and turned the PC off, I noticed a constant faint buzzing sound coming from the power socket at the back of the computer. It only happens when the PC is OFF, it disappears if I unplug the power but comes back whenever I plug it - even if I didn't use the PC for 10+ hours.

On a side note, I noticed my CPU temp is always around 60+°C when I turn the computer ON, which seems a bit high.

How can I fix this buzzing sound? I don't want to unplug the socket every time I turn off the computer… and is there any risks???

Thanks in advance

    @tujo

    Are you able to rotate the AC plug?

    Likely the buzzing is associated with the standby power, which is always active.
